With the site being only 100 km from the Mediterranean, you can have a pleasant stay nearly all year round. There are lots of walking trails starting from the camp site or from further on, or you can take the kids for a walk with a donkey, or go horse riding 20 minutes, away. Rent a canoe, go climbing or follow the via ferrata near Florac which is an hour’s ride away. To visit Nimes, Anduze, Uzes or Montpellier reckon on 1, 5 to two hours.
"This is a small site run by the owners who are amazingly hospitable and it feels like one is camping in a friend's garden. It is a genuinely naturist environment and I even managed quite a few kilometres randonue on the forest tracks. I had a wonderfully relaxing ten days and can thoroughly recommend La Combe de Ferriere. I shall definitely return!"
“La Combe de Ferrière is the sort of place you want to return to year after year. An unsophisticated oasis of tranquillity where you feel at one with nature. And how rich nature is in the heart of the Cévennes! Laze in the sun and listen to the silence. Swim in the pool overlooking the chestnut-clad hillsides so typical of the area. Enjoy the simple pleasures of life. And above all enjoy the friendliness and helpfulness of site owners Jur and Lisa and their guests.”
“I've stayed at this site twice now in late season and recommend it without reservation. The hosts speak excellent English Naturism is so very natural here... it's just the accepted way of life and attracts delightful and sociable people to the site so expect to meet others here from a range of nationalities, and enjoy a glass of wine and some cheese together at the end of the day. This is the perfect place to chill out...”
